Move (formerly Xtract) from Nutanix has been an ever evolving product. The first two capabilities were “Xtract for DBs” and “Xtract for VMs“. The newest addition to the Move family is the capability to migrate VMs from AWS to a local Nutanix cluster running AHV as the hypervisor! We now have a simple way to migrate our workloads from the Public AWS cloud to our local private Nutanix Enterprise Cloud. This further expands the vision of a true hybrid cloud world where workloads can move freely between different cloud providers both public and private.
